Spring Fling Returns to GALOT

Returning this week to Galot Motorsports Park in Dunn, North Carolina, will be a pre-entered field of 385 of the best bracket racers in the country for the K&N Spring Fling presented by Optima Batteries.

Peeps Pennington Wins $375,000 at Spring Fling Million

Only ten days since the Spring Fling brand held a very successful event in Las Vegas which awarded the most money ever paid to any single day winner of a drag race, $375,000, the brand moves east and will pay $50,000 to the winner of Strange Engineering Friday.

Races will take place on five separate days beginning Tuesday with a Test & Tune session followed by a limited field of racers competing in the American Race Cars/Race Tech Super Tuesday Dragster Shootout where both the winner and runner-up will win a brand new 2019 dragster.

FST Carburetors Wednesday begins all out racing with a $15,000 winner’s award. Both JEGS Thursday and Wiseco Saturday, the winner’s purse increases to $20,000 with the aforementioned Strange Engineering Friday the main event with a $50K winner’s share.

Thursday night a special Hoosier Tires Door Car Shootout for $10,000 to win. In addition to the racing purses, over $50,000 in prizes and giveaways from the Fling’s patented Treasure Chest will continue to be awarded randomly as the week progresses.
