With $5k to win both days at Farmington Dragway, footbrake racers traveled from all over in hopes to park their ride in the winners circle. Ernie Humes led the weekend with his huge double up on Saturday, something he had always dreamed of doing.
Ernie Humes shocked the world and took home the win and the runner-up in the Footbrake class. Semi-finalists were Garrett Howell and Tim Douglas.
In the Top Eliminator class, it was Rick Johnson over Ron Phipps in the final round.
Tom Hettig took home the Footbrake trophy after defeating last year’s winner Tim Douglas in the final round. Semi-finalist was George Harper.
In Top Eliminator, it was Shawn Lingerfelt, who was .0009, over JR Hodges.
