If you’re unfamiliar with the program, the SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series was formed in 2011 from the SouthWest Outlaw Jr. Dragster Series that was created in 2010. The series typically has seven weekends and each event involves two days of nonstop junior dragster competition.

In 2020, the SouthWest Jr. Dragster Series (SWJDS) completed six events: two races each at Pine Valley Raceway, Little River Dragway, and Alamo City Raceway. The brains behind the SWJDS include Gary Foster, Curtis Garceau, Tim Rivette, Jamie Pennington, and Brandy Pennington.
