The DragChamp Show with Caraline McCarty

17 year old rising bracket racing star Caraline McCarty joins the show this week! Along with her mother Carol, we get into all kinds of stuff including Caraline’s recent $30K victory at the Spring Fling in Bristol. Listen to the DragChamp Show for more!

Caraline McCarty drops by the DragChamp Show this week with her mom Carol as her sidekick. We dig into her recent Spring Fling victory and get the cool backstory on how it came together. Caraline talks about growing up at the bracket races, how her parents let her race her way, life on the road with her Mom, doing wheelies in the Rambler wagon and more.

“You think I’m scared of him don’t you?” – Caraline calling out her Mom before racing, and beating, Jeff Serra

We recorded this episode a day after the Guaranteed $1,000,000 wrapped up so everyone was still buzzing about their weeklong adventure in Memphis. Jake and Ryan were worn out and the McCarty’s were finally back home after a two-week road trip. The McCarty family is well respected within the sport and talking with Caraline and Carol reminds you why that is. They are good people who put their heart and soul into each other and this sport. That really comes out in our conversation. We hope you enjoy this one!

“The Lord plans our steps, we just have to follow them” – Carol discussing the circumstances leading up to Caraline’s $30K victory.

After the interview, the guys recap the unreal Guaranteed $1,000,000. Gary also prepares to head west to Vegas for the Fall Fling West while Ryan talks about hitting the GPE Bottom Bulb Blowout at Mid American Dragway.
