The Central Ohio Power Wheels Drag Racing series is one where racers ages 3-9 years old get an electrified introduction into the sport of drag racing. Kids drive their Power Wheels to the 60 foot mark in either bracket racing or heads up classes and compete for the opportunity at a class championship.
Mel Robinson manages the series which began as a way to involve children during the Cash Days event at Pacemakers Dragway. This year, Lapeer International Dragway has joined in on the fun as well.

He is part of Team Hot Shot’s Secret / Team Ohio Grudge Racing / Team MLToys.com.
Tommy would like to thank his dad Aryn Robinson for all the hard work that has been into testing and making the car fast. He is happy to have LoneStar EV Performance Batteries , Hot Shot’s Secret , Vic’s Body Shop CIA Performance, Rocket Track Glue, Capital City Raceway, Owens Performance, New Horizon Ministry, K’s Kustom’s as his 2020 sponsors. Congratulations to Tommy for being our Series Champion and fastest 24 volt modified in the country.
12 Volt Modified Class Champion- Tanner “TJ” Herb
Our 12 volt modified Champion for 2021 is new to power wheels racing but has two wins under his belt one in 12 volt modified and one in 24 volt modified. Tanner “TJ” Herb is our 12 volt modified Class Champion. He started driving before he could walk! He’s been driving golf carts and power wheels around his house and racing neighborhood kids on their bikes on the sidewalk. Any chance he gets he tries to line up to race. Win or lose he just enjoys the ride!
He turned 6 this summer and entered into his first official race at national trail raceway. He won his very first event. That race sparked his interest in competing on a more professional level. He was instantly hooked and decided he wanted to go even faster by building a 24v car with his dad. His biggest sponsor is his papaw Mike Herb, owner of Herb Enterprises, LLC. which focuses on lawncare and snow removal. His neighbor and best (grown up) friend, Jeff Ishler, has also sponsored him with lots of parts and hardware, and funding. His mom does all of his stickers and decals. He is running mltoys speed parts and homemade tires. Congrats to TJ on his first Class Championship.
12 Volt Stock Class Champion- Adelle Robinson
12 volt stock class Champion. Adelle Robinson was unstoppable with her Blue Vette. She won every race in this class this year. Adelle was also 2 points out of first place in 24 volt modified class and 1 point out of first place in n 12 volt modified, not bad for her second year racing. Last race of the year she was in all three class finals, at the Ohio Grudge Racing Race at National Trail’s Raceway she was in two class finals.
She is part of Team Hot Shot’s Secrets / Team Ohio Grudge Racing / Team MLToys.com. Adelle also has LoneStar EV Performance Batteries, Vic’s Body Shop, CIA Performance , Rocket Track Glue. to thank for their support and sponsorship for the 2021 season she was in the finals of each class of the last race first time that has ever happened.
