Midwest Junior Super Series 2022 Season Opener
Nine Junior Dragster drivers claimed wins at the Midwest Junior Super Series season opener at Wagler Motorsports Park.
LYONS, IN- The Midwest Junior Super Series sprung to life this past weekend with their season opener at Wagler Motorsports Park. The event features numerous Junior Dragster classes including age groups, indexes, Outlaw 330, Q16, and Pro Sportsman. Since this event was apart of the NHRA JDRL Challenge, winners in the age groups, Q16, and Pro Sportsman won a Wally and a Big Daddy trophy.

6-9 Age Group
In the 6-9 Age Group, Griffin Kroening picked up the win over Allie Winkler.


10-12 Age Group
Tyler Wied captured the 10-12 Age Group win over Cade Rienschield.


13 & Up
In the 13 & Up Age Group, Eli Sanning claimed the win over Kennedi Arnold.


Q16
Braden Bowden drove to victory in the Q16 class getting the final round win over Lane Fischer.
#1 Qualifier: Ty Gortney



Outlaw 330
Brent Wagner picked up the $800-to-win Outlaw 330 win over #1 Qualifier Austin Vincent.

Carson Wied captured the 11.90 Index win over Nickolous Barnett.


8.90 Index
In the 8.90 Index class, Kinzer Lee parked his Junior Dragster in the Winner’s Circle. Kruz Lee was the runner-up.


7.90 Index
Lane Fischer picked up the 7.90 Index win over Sam Stewart.


Pro Sportsman
In $1,000-to-win Pro Sportsman, Blaine Todd captured the final round win over Eli Sanning.
