Covington & Whisnant Win $5K at Darlington

Eight racers claimed wins at the second Darlington Dragway Legendary Bracket Series points race of the season.

HARTSVILLE, SC- Darlington Dragway hosted Race 2 of their WDRA Legendary Bracket Series on May 6-7, 2023. The two-day event featured separate classes for Modified ET, Top ET, Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster. The next Legendary Bracket Series event will be May 13, 2023. Top ET

Larry Covington picked up the Saturday Top ET final round win over Joe Foley.

Mod ET

In Saturday’s Mod ET class, JP Britt claimed the win over Aaron Brock.

Sportsman

Ted Hudson captured the Saturday Sportsman win over William Bell.

Jr. Dragster

Kaden Pruett claimed the Saturday Jr. Dragster win over Mason Crews.

Sunday Results

Top ET

Cam Whisnant earned the Sunday Top ET final round win over Kevin Crawford.

Mod ET

Ryan Snipes captured the Sunday Mod ET final round win over Levi Boozer.

Sportsman

In Sunday’s Sportsman class, Robbie Philbeck picked up the win over Saturday’s Sportsman winner, Ted Hudson.

Jr. Dragster

Kamryn Majors claimed the Sunday Jr. Dragster win over Calla Varner.
