Friday High Roller 64 Shootout

Crowley defeated “Tricky” Ricky Livingston in the final round for $7500 to win. He used a .005 reaction time to grab a starting line advantage and then ran one above eight to turn on the win light!

Brett was a last minute addition to the shootout, coming through the alternates list for the 64-car field.

“I didn’t think I was going to get in but I’m so glad I did” said Brett. “It was a great day and an awesome event.”

Saturday Main Event

The Advantage RV’s MIDWEST BRACKETFEST powered by GO Lithium Saturday Main Event featured Rick Livingston in his second final round of the weekend up against no-box champion of the day Brenden Bungert. “Tricky” was behind on the hit but proceeded to drop at the stripe and push Brenden to a break-out.

After coming up one win light short in Friday’s High Roller Shootout, Ricky bounced back to an emotion filled winner circle celebration Saturday.

“This one’s for pops..” said Ricky. “I just miss him dearly.. I wish he was here for this.”

Friends and family flooded the winner circle photo as Ricky was showered by cash and applause.

Sunday Main Event

Todd Knight put in the work and drove the Tin Soldier dragster all the way to a $11,000 pay day Sunday at the Advantage RV’s MIDWEST BRACKETFEST powered by GO Lithium. Against all odds, Todd came out on top of nearly 300 other entries at Eddyville Raceway Park.

After mechanical issues with the pro-charger plagued the Tin Soldier dragster on Saturday, Todd proceeded to disassemble and re-build the power plant naturally aspirated, dropping nearly a second off of the ET he’s used to running.

“I had to be honest on the dial” said Todd. “I’d look back and if he wasn’t there, dump it. I just tried to cut the tree down and not get on the brakes too early.”

Todd utilized a .019 package to turn on the final win light over Jared Micetich, who was behind on the hit and one above.
