Winners Crowned at 2023 Star Spangled Banger

Several winners were crowned over the holiday weekend at the Star Spangled Banger at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, OH.

XENIA, OH – The Star Spangled Banger swept through the holiday weekend at Kil-Kare Raceway where several winners were crowned in the winners circle! Adam Albright, Jason Briggs, and Brian Collier led the weekend cashing in each day.

Racers were given a chance to race for $5,000 on Friday, $6,000 on Saturday, and $7,000 on Sunday, as well as junior dragsters on Saturday.

Friday

Adam Albright defeated Mikie Sturgill in the final round.

Saturday

Jason Briggs defeated Darren White in the final round.

Colton Reed defeated Jacob Leigh in the junior dragster final round.

Sunday

Brian Collier defeated Jeffrey Wright in the last final round of the weekend.

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
