Jr Racers Show Out at MIR Young Guns Showdown

Jenkins, Dudley, Dalton, Williams, and Nelson collected wins at the Maryland International Raceway Young Guns Showdown- Battle of the Juniors event.

MECHANICSVILLE, MD- It was all about the Junior Dragster racers this past weekend, June 23-25, 2023 at Maryland International Raceway. The Young Guns Showdown- Battle of the Juniors event gave the rising stars of drag racing an opportunity to cash in for the largest purses to ever be offered at MIR. Unfortunately, rain caused Friday’s on track events to be cancelled. However, they were able to run Saturday’s $5K, Sunday’s $2.5K, and the “No Look” ET race to completion.

Saturday $5K

Brandon Jenkins picked up the Saturday $5K win over Madison Stotler.

Mason Dudley was the Saturday Beginner winner.

“No Look” ET Race

In the “No Look” ET Race, Trevor Dalton claimed the final round win over Parker Fields.

Sunday $2,500

Tony Williams captured the Sunday $2,500 race win over Katie Hall.

The Sunday Beginner winner was Sarah Nelson.
