Carson Wied continues his winning ways with a WCF win to lead the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance.

6/28/23 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Carson Wied

After his double-up at the Midwest Super Series last weekend, Carson Wied extended his win streak by picking up the 10-year-old class win at the Western Conference Finals.

2 – Race Ragland

Race Ragland doubled-up at the Western Conference Finals to earn the 2nd spot on the top 10 list! He won the 14-year-old class at the Western Conference Finals and the 13-14 O’Brien Companies Shootout.

3 – Garrett Agnew

Garrett Agnew earned the third spot on this week’s Top 10 list by winning both Jr. Comp and 13-17 Jr. Dragster in the U.S. Air Force drag-racing series race on the 5th day of the Western Conference Finals at Bandimere Speedway.

4 – Gage Wilson

Despite not racing his Junior Dragster as much this year, Gage Wilson managed to claim three wins in a row. He won Saturday and Sunday at Mid America Dragway and then won the Division 5 15-17 age group at the Western Conference Finals.

Congratulations to all Western Conference Finals champions!

6 – Logan Sweetman

On Friday, Logan Sweetman claimed a runner up finish in the D5 13-14 year old class and on Saturday, he won the 13 year old Western Conference Finals. Furthermore, on Sunday, he made it down to the semi-final round in the 13-17 year old class to claim a spot on the top 10 list.

7 – Cadence Soucek

Cadence Soucek won both Saturday and Sunday at the 2nd Annual Hootenanny No Box Open at Dragway 42.

8 –Big Money Winners

Logan Grayson

Logan Grayson cashed in for $5K at the World Series of Junior Dragster race at Capital City Motorsports Park. He also made the semi finals in Friday’s $2k race along with making it to the ladder round in Sunday’s $2k race.

Brandon Jenkins

Brandon Jenkins claimed the Saturday $5,000 win at the Maryland International Raceway Young Guns Showdown.

Tony Williams

Tony Williams captured the Sunday $2,500 race win at the Young Guns Showdown at Maryland International Raceway.

9 – Hutch Harger

Hutch Harger made the trip to Mid American Dragway the Sunday before WCF to run the one race required to compete in D5 Championship Race. He picked up the win there and then headed to Bandimere where he won the D5 8-9 Year Old Championship 5 days later.

10 – Gavin Sharp

After his big weekend in Texas, Gavin Sharp doubled-up at Twin City Raceway to claim the 10th spot on the top 10 list.
