10/25/23 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Alex Selleck

Alex Selleck earns the #1 spot on the Jr. Racer Top 10 List this week after winning the WDRA Junior Dragster World Championship. Alex is just 8 years old and as far as we can confirm, he is the youngest World Champion in the history of our sport!

2 – Aurelia Camarena

Aurelia Camarena takes the #2 spot after doubling-up at the big money bracket race at Albuquerque Dragway, winning not only the big money race but also winning the Earl Bowman Memorial Race on the same day. She was also in the semi-finals on Saturday.

3 – Cameron Rich

Cameron Rich won the Division 2 bracket race at Rockingham on Saturday, securing the 8.90 Division 2 Championship. He also went on to win Sunday’s National Open. Two weeks ago, Cameron won the Race of Champions at Carolina Dragway.

4 – Cameron Bauman

Cameron Bauman doubled-up at the Kenny Mallow Memorial Race by picking up the $1,000 10-12 year old age group win and then he came back to win the run off to win an additional $1,000.

5 – Brayden Davis

Brayden Davis sealed the PDRA World Championship in the Pro Junior Class impressively-possibly by one of the BIGGEST margins ever! He went to the finals five times and won four of the seven races he attended. In addition to his Junior Dragster performance, he finished 3rd (by only 9 points) in his very first year of competition in the Pro Nitrous Motorcycle class.

6 – Kenzie Whitley

Kenzie Whitley has been to seven finals in five weekends resulting in three wins and four runner-ups. This past weekend, she won a Wally at Rockingham Dragway for NHRA Division 2 on Saturday and picked up the runner-up on Sunday for the Galot makeup race.

6 – Kimberly Vancica

Kimberly Vancica has been in five total finals, winning four races in three weekends. She doubled-up in Montgomery, won a gamblers race at Carolina Dragway, and picked up a runner-up and win in two different races this past Saturday at Silver Dollar.

7 – Grace Varner

Grace Varner made seven finals in seven weeks, not including a pit vehicle runner-up. This past Sunday, she won the National Open race at Rockingham!

8 – Carter Jackson

Carter Jackson has gone to three final rounds in the past month picking up two wins. He was the ADRL Dragstock Champion, PDRA DragWars Runner-up & PDRA World Finals winner.

9 – Ryan Alexander

In the past 5 weekends of racing, Ryan Alexander has made four finals with three wins with three Wallys. He secured his 2nd consecutive Mobile Dragway Track Championship and one of his wins was the Advanced Jr Race of Champions at Carolina Dragway.

10 – Luke Hutchinson

Luke Hutchinson won the NHRA division 2 race at Rockingham on Saturday earning him the NHRA Division 2 Championship in the 6-9 age group. This was Luke’s sixth straight win.
