Carson Wied doubled-up at the Midwest Jr Super Series Stars & Stripes Challenge II to lead the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance.

6/21/23 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Carson Wied

Carson Wied continues to dominate in his green Hangsterfer’s dragster. At the Midwest Jr Super Series race this past weekend he doubled-up, winning the 10-12 age group and the 8.90 Index class. After winning age group on Saturday, he broke a rod in Sportsman eliminations. They swapped motors for Sunday and he went on to win the 8.90 Index. The weekend before, Carson won a Wally.

2 – Tyler Wied

Tyler Wied won both Quick 16 and Pro Sportsman at the Midwest Jr Super Series Stars & Stripes Challenge II. He also picked up a Wally the weekend before to earn the 2nd spot on the top 10 list.

3 – Brayden Davis

Brayden Davis earned the third spot on this week’s Top 10 list by winning both Pro Junior Dragster and Pro Nitrous Motorcycle at the PDRA North South Shootout at Maryland International Raceway. He also doubled-up in Pro Junior Dragster and Pro Nitrous Motorcycle earlier this season.

4 – Cody Vincent

Jr Racer Top 10

Cody Vincent picked up two wins and a runner-up this past weekend at Top Gun Raceway. He won the shootout on Friday night, claimed a runner-up in Saturday’s race, and won the Sunday race for his first ever Divisional win and Wally.

5 – Zach Standeven

Jr Racer Top 10

Zach Standeven cleaned house both days for $1,000 dollars each at the 25th Anniversary race in Fort St. John, BC, Canada to round out the top 5.

6 – Bladen Core

Jr Racer Top 10

Bladen Core captured a win and runner-up at Race #7 & #8 at Galot Motorsports Park to claim the sixth spot on the top 10 list.

7 – Ayden Tilghman

Ayden Tilghman picked up his 3rd win in a row this past weekend in the PDRA Top Jr Dragster class on Saturday at Maryland International Raceway. This was his 4th final in a row. Two weeks ago, he doubled-up Saturday and Sunday at Roxboro Motorsports Park.

8 – Jeggie Holbrook

Jeggie Holbrook won his 3rd race in a row this past weekend after doubling-up just two weeks ago to claim a spot on the top 10 list.

9 (Tie) – Cohen Reed

Jr Racer Top 10

Cohen Reed captured the 6-9 Pro Sportsman win this past weekend at the Midwest Jr Super Series Stars & Stripes Challenge II. Cohen has now made four finals in the first two MJSS races coming out with three wins.

9 (Tie) – Reed Carpenter

Jr Racer Top 10

Reed Carpenter claimed the 11.90 Index win at the Midwest Jr Super Series Stars & Stripes Challenge II. He also made four finals with three wins in the first two MJSS races.

10 – Quenten Eugen

Jr Racer Top 10

Quenten Eugen won his very first race ever this past weekend at the Jr. Dash 4 Cash at Redding Dragstrip on Saturday. He took home $2,000 and in the final he blew up his motor but still got the win!
