Friday Results

Box Gamblers Race

If you bet that Cordova’s Bobby Ince would be in the final of the Friday Box gamblers race you would be right…twice. Bobby Jr. put away Bobby Ince Sr with a .017 leave and .017 over his 5.56 dial. Ince Sr. had his finger super glued to the button by his kid when he wasn’t looking and was .177 when he finally let go. Just to show the kid what he had for him Sr. went dead on 4 on his 4.53 dial.

No Box Gamblers Race

Tyler Brooks took home another win for team Cordova Dragway by defeating Bill Randall in the Friday No Box gamblers final. Randall sliced the tree a little too thin with a -.009 red while Brooks was .037 to the good running 6.737 on a 6.75 dial.

Junior Dragster Gamblers Race

Team Eddyville Raceway Park parked one in the winners circle of the Friday Junior gamblers race thanks to Carter Brand. Brand held off Kylee Greenwood with a .046 8.83 on a 8.68 dial to Greenwood’s .193 7.948 on a 7.91 dial.

Golf Cart Race

Cordova Dragway‘s Jace Deering wheeled his way through a mountain of competitors to meet up with Eddyville Raceway Park‘s Jason Gaborit. Gabroit missed the tree with a .139 and his “holding a ton” strategy did not pay off with his 11.217 on a 11.53 dial. Deering on the other hand looked like he had done this before using a .063 light and running .024 under his 14.88 dial to etch his name in the history books tonight.

Team Captain Race

Cordova Team Captain Teagan McKenna (and co-pilot Bobby Ince Jr) got the W over Mo-Kan Team Captain Tyler West in the Summit Racing Equipment Midwest Bracket Finals presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance Team Captain race.

West took the early lead with a .091 to McKenna’s .412 bulb but dropped the anchor way too eary clocking a 11.795 on a 11.33 dial. McKenna ripped the throttle a few times to run a 10.355 on a 10.30 dial to bring home the award.
