Ashe Doubles Up at King of the Coast Event #1
Twelve racers picked up wins at Event #1 of the 21st Annual BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series at Gulfport Dragway.
GULFPORT, MS- The BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series presented by David McMurtry Engines series launched its twenty-first season with Event #1 on February 14-16, 2025, at Gulfport Dragway. Gaylon Rolison Jr. and his team continue the tradition of wealthy paydays, unforgettable competition, and plenty of fun throughout their events. The season opener featured an array of classes including $7,500-to-win Electronics, $4,000-to-win Footbrake, Sportsman, and several Junior Dragster categories.
Mark your calendars for Event #2, scheduled to take place from April 25-27, 2025, once again at Gulfport Dragway.

Saturday Results
Rick’s Powdercoating & Customs Electronics $7.5K
AJ Ashe captured the Saturday $7,500 Electronics win over Chase Gatwood.
TJ Pruitt was the lone semi-finalist.
Alliance Race Wear Footbrake $4K
Thomas Holley picked up the Saturday $4K Footbrake final round win over Jonathan Booth.
Matt Nowling and Larry Seguin were the semi-finalists.
Velocity Racing Carbs Sportsman
In Saturday’s Sportsman class, Trent Giambrone earned himself the final round win by defeating Jerry Rogers.
Junior Specialties/ S&W Powersports Junior Dragsters presented by Bone Shaker Motorsports
Berry Performance Ages 7-9
Eston Carpenter picked up the Berry Performance 7-9 Age Group Junior Dragster win over Lyndon Bryan.
Bone Shaker Motorsports Ages 10-12
In Saturday’s Bone Shaker Motorsports 10-12 Age Group Junior Dragster class, Kendall Stephenson earned the final round win over Grayson Herbert.
Eston Carpenter was the semi-finalist.
Pearce Automotive Ages 13-17
Ansley Paul claimed the Pearce Automotive 13-17 Age Group Junior Dragster win over Maddie Chesne on Saturday.
The lone semi-finalist was Rori Wells.

In Sunday’s Pearce Automotive 13-17 Age Group Junior Dragster final, Layne Lewis defeated Luke Tabor.
Ryan Alexander was the semi-finalist.
