2019 Summit Motorsports Park Schedule Action-Packed

While all of the events were exciting this year at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, the action will be even more astonishing next year.

Drivers will fire their engines for the 38th Annual Spring Warm-Up, April 13-14 followed by the 13th Annual Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, which is celebrated as the largest NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event in the country, May 17-19, and the Inaugural DragMania Drag Racing Festival, May 31-June 2.

Fun-runs and cruise-ins are part of Super Summit, June 7-8, while Top Fuel Dragsters, Funny Cars and fireworks are part of the 13th Annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, June 20-23 and classic cars come together for the 18thAnnual Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Blue Suede Cruise, July 12-14.

After that is the Inaugural Patriot Nationals (Midwest Junior Super Series), June 28-30, and catch Challengers, Chargers and other cars at the 7th Annual Monster Mopar Weekend, July 26-28, and everything from Tempests to Trans Ams at the 28th Annual Ames Performance Pontiac Nationals, Aug. 1-4.

Plenty of performers, pyrotechnics and pulse-pounding is promised for the time-honored 42nd Annual Kelly Services Night Under Fire, Aug. 9-11, and cars with power-adder and naturally-aspirated combinations will captivate at the 18thAnnual Honeywell Garrett NMCA All American Nationals, Aug. 22-25.

Hundreds of sportsman racers will get in the spirit of things at the Cometic Gasket Halloween Classic XLVI presented by Harland Sharp, Oct. 12-20.

“The 2019 Summit Motorsports Park schedule may prove to be the most exciting in our 50-plus-year history,” said Bill Bader Jr., Summit Motorsports Park president. “We’ve seen continued growth and success with all of our major events, and with the addition of the Inaugural Patriot Nationals and DragMania, it’s going to be a monster summer in Norwalk, Ohio. Additionally, understanding that Sportsman racing will always be our foundation, we’re strengthening our Edelbrock Super Series to a 13-race schedule including three doubles.”
