Scott Jessop and Ryan Kimbler both took home $10,000 victories to lead the winners at the Quaker City Big Bucks Nationals. Jason Ford, Scott Fury, and Nick Hastings also found the winners circle.
SALEM, Ohio – The Big Bucks Nationals raced to conclusion July 10-12 at Quaker City Motorsports Park. The event, originally scheduled for three days, was condensed down to a Friday/Saturday race after rain washed out Friday’s activities. The revised scheduled included two $10,000 to win races in Box and No-Box as the Friday $5K was rolled into Sunday’s purse.
Saturday Race Results
In the Box class, Scott Jessop captured the $10,000 Big Bucks Nationals victory after defeating Seth Fester in the final round.
Jason Ford took the No-Box title after defeating Corey Griffith in the final round. Griffith was coming off of a huge two-win weekend at the World Footbrake Challenge a week ago.
There was also a $5,000 64-Car Shootout on Friday that pitted 32 Door cars vs. 32 Dragsters. Scott Fury grabbed the victory after defeating Joe Haskins in the final round.
Sunday Race Results
Ryan Kimbler earned the Sunday $10,000 victory in Box over Brandon Prest.
In the No-Box class, Nasty Nick Hastings downed Corey Griffith to claim the $10,000 winners check.
