Registration for the SDPC Raceshop Dream Team Challenge opens March 1st. This race is completed during the Great American $20,000 Bracket Race at Memphis International Raceway.
Wake up! It is time to create a group of five dedicated drivers and make your dreams come true! The Great American Bracket Race SDPC Raceshop Dream Team Challenge is opening the registration tables March 1st at 6PM CST.
Bringing Dreams to Reality
Last year, Rick Baehr’s team took home the Bottom Bulb bragging rights while Trampus Stewart’s team trumped the Top Bulb competition. Ben Willis brought five fantastic kids to earn the Junior Dragster Dream Team win.
The Dream Team Challenge is where teams of talented racers compete against each other to determine who is the best of the best. The sky is the limit when it comes to forming your “Dream Team” because drivers can be from anywhere you choose.
The race will be contested during the 4th Annual Moser Engineering Great American Bracket Race at Memphis International Raceway. The Junior Dragster teams will run the entire competition on Saturday, while Top and Bottom Bulb teams run one round Friday and the rest on Saturday.
All About The Money
The Dream Team Challenge slogan, “Don’t talk about it…be about it” is all about putting your money where your mouth is. In this case, the deposit is $300 for Top Bulb, $200 for Bottom Bulb, and $100 for Junior Dragster teams. The remaining team balance is due on May 1st.
The total team entry fee for each class is as follows: $1,500 for Top Bulb, $1,000 for Bottom Bulb, and $500 for Junior Dragsters. That breaks down to a $300, $200, and $100 investment, respectively, for each driver on a team. Even better, the Dream Team Challenge pays back one hundred percent of the entry fees!
But wait, there’s more! Along with the SDPC Raceshop Dream Team Challenge, The GABR main events boast Bottom Bulb purses of $5K Friday, $10K Saturday, and $5K on Sunday. Top Bulb drivers have the opportunity to win $10K Friday, $20K Saturday, and $10K Sunday.
You don’t want to miss your chance to show out on the big stage, so make sure to register your team March 1st on the Great American Bracket Races website. All the other money up for grabs has no pre-entry…all you have to do is show up and turn on the win lights!
