Anson Brown Prevails at TB Twin Fifties
Johnny Ezell, Jeg Coughlin, and Anson Brown visited the winners circle at the TB Twin Fifties race at World Wide Technology Raceway.
MADISON, IL – Johnny Ezell, Jeg Coughlin, and Anson Brown all made for pretty memorable weekends at the TB Twin Fifties race at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, IL.
Brown led the weekend, visiting the winner’s circle on Saturday evening for the combined Saturday and Sunday $75,000 event. Coughlin cashed in for $50,000 on Friday, and Johnny Ezell took home a brand new wired and painted Mullis Race Cars roller chassis on Thursday.
Lucas Walker swept the weekend in No-Box, winning both Friday and Saturday to pick up the bonus everyday.

Racers traveled from all over for four days of racing in the beautiful city of St. Louis. The event consisted of a warm-up race on Thursday for a 2023 Mullis Race Cars that was completely wired and painted, a $50,000 race on Friday, and a combined $75,000 race on Saturday due to weather chances on Sunday.

Mullis Race Cars Thursday


Racers competed for a brand new 2023 Mullis Race Cars roller that was wired and painted. Johnny Ezell defeated Hunter Patton in the final round to take home the beautiful chassis.
The semi-finalists were Lester Adkins and Jeremy Bargo.
Moser Engineering Friday


Jeg Coughlin visited the winners circle for $50K after defeating Austin Slone in the final round. Team JEGS put on a show as both Jeg and wife, Samantha, took both of their entries down to the late rounds. Samantha bowed out at 5 cars, and Jeg took it all the way to the winner’s circle!
The lone semi-finalist was Aaron Vail, who was doubled at 5 cars.

On the No-Box side, Lucas Walker picked up the $2,500 bonus to head into the main event.

Vintage Trailers / Law Chevrolet Saturday


18-year-old Anson Brown made his mark in the bracket racing world on Saturday evening, visiting the winner’s circle for $75,000 in only his second race in the car. Brown laid down killer laps all day long to beat Shawn Langdon in the final round.
Logan Diggs was the semi-finalist.

On the No-Box side, Lucas Walker picked up the combined $3,500 bonus to head into the main event.
