Isenhower Leads Winners at NHRA Midwest Nationals
Nick Isenhower has had an impressive start to his National event career, giving him the top spot of the weekend at the NHRA Midwest Nationals.
MADISION, IL – Joe Arrowsmith (Comp) and Nick Isenhower (SC) lead the winner board at the NHRA Midwest Nationals this past weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway. Isenhower picked up his second National event win, just after picking up his first at the US Nationals.

Joining them in the winners circle were Robert Cruzen (SS), Ryan Montford (STK), Jeremy Mason (SG), and Larry Demers (TS).

2021 NHRA Midwest Nationals
Competition Eliminator – Joe Arrowsmith


Joe Arrowsmith defeated Brett Speer in the final round after Speer turned it -.010 at the hit. Arrowsmith was .087 and ran a 7.844 at 173 mph to pick up the trophy in his first ever final round.
David Billingsley was the semi-finalist.
Stock Eliminator – Ryan Montsford


Ryan Montsford picked up his third National event Wally after defeating Wes Neely in the final round. Neely turned it -.007 to hand the win over to Montsford, who was .038 and coasted to a 9.889 at 109 mph.
Eric Campolito and Bruce Kastle were the semi-finalists.
Super Stock – Robert Cruzen


Robert Cruzen defeated Ricky Decker in the final round to collect his second National event Wally. Cruzen had the starting line advantage, .011 to .049, and ran a 9.239 at 139 mph on his 9.20 dial-in.
Mark Nowicki and Allen Wilson III were the semi-finalists.
Super Comp – Nick Isenhower


Just weeks after winning his first National event at Indy, Isenhower found himself back in the winners circle after defeating Vernon Rowland in the final round. Rowland had the slight starting line advantage, .009 to .013, but Isenhower got to the stripe by .006 to go a 8.933 at 181 mph.
Tim Millwood and Bob Prose were the semi-finalists.
Super Gas – Jeremy Mason


Jeremy Mason collected his fifth career win after defeating Jason Mcclure in the final round. Mason had the slight starting line advantage, .022 to .029, and ran a 9.917 at 154 mph while Mcclure broke out.
Robert Rowan and John Sikish were the semi-finalists.
Top Sportsman – Larry Demers


Larry Demers defeated Curt Fredrich in the final round to take home his fourth National event Wally. Demers had the starting line advantage, .028 to .050, and held off Fredrich for the win. He ran a 6.898 at 197 mph on his 6.87 dial-in.
Kyle Firestone was the semi-finalist.
