6th Annual Door Wars Returns in 2022

The FRBR Promotions 6th Annual Competitive Suspension Door Wars: A Footbrake Experience! presented by BNM Performance heads to Maryland International Raceway August 11-14, 2022.

MECHANICSVILLE, MD- FRBR Promotions is back in action August 11-14, 2022 at Maryland International Raceway with their popular bottom bulb event, the 6th Annual Competitive Suspension Door Wars presented by BNM Performance. The event which features three-days of competition includes, two $10,000-to-win races on Friday & Sunday and a $20,000-to-win Saturday main event. In addition, there will also be two $3,000-to-win Gamblers Races on Thursday and Friday night as well as a Reaction Time Challenge on Saturday. Get all of the details below!

This event will also be live streamed by Diamond State Digital for those who won’t be able to watch in-person.

Twin $10K’s- Friday & Sunday

On Friday & Sunday, Footbrake racers will battle it out for $10,000 on each day. Runner-up will earn $2,000 and semi-finalist can win $1,000. The single day entry is $150 for the $10K’s and a first round buyback will be available for $100. KKC Performance and Pep Boys Speed Shop & Off Road are the respective day sponsors. The weekend entry which includes all three days ($10K/$20K/$10K) will be available for $420.

$20K Saturday

On C2 Competition Converters & Machining Saturday, racers will compete to win $20,000. Runner-up will win $5,000 and semi-finalists will earn $2,000. The single day entry will be $230 and there will be a 1st round buyback available for $150. The weekend entry which includes all three days ($10K/$20K/$10K) will be available for $420.

Extras

Thursday will feature Test & Tune from 12 noon- 4:30pm and it will be $30 for everyone who would like to participate. On Thursday and Friday night, there will be Nitro Fish $3,000-to-win Gamblers Races. The runner-up will earn $1,000 and $100 round money will start at 4th round loser. There will be no buybacks and double-entries are fine. The entry fee will be $100 for each night.

Saturday night will feature the Blittersdorf’s Automotive Reaction Time Challenge which will be made up of 20 randomly selected racers. Any driver to hit a .00X Reaction Time receives $100 cash. The first driver to hit a .000 Reaction Time will win $1,000 cash.

Weekend Schedule

On Thursday, parking will be open from 9am-9pm with Test & Tune to take place from noon-4:30pm and it will be $30 to participate. The Nitro Fish Thursday Gamblers Race will follow after Test & Tune.

Gates will open at 8am on Friday morning with time trials starting at 9am. Eliminations will follow the time trial and the Nitro Fish Friday Gamblers Race will take place that evening, time TBA.

On Saturday, gates also open at 8am with time trials at 9am and eliminations to follow. There will be a Greiner Bros Heating & Cooling Racer Appreciation Dinner at 6pm and the Blittersdorf’s Automotive Reaction Time Challenge will start after eliminations.

Gates open at 8am on Sunday with new combination only time trials at 9am and eliminations to begin at 9:30am.

Crew

Crew will be $20/day or $50/weekend and kids 12 & Under are FREE!
