Tyler Wudarczyk and John Brimer conquered the mountain on Sunday evening at the NHRA Mile-High Nationals.
MORRISON, CO – The NHRA Mile-High Nationals concluded over the weekend at Bandimere Speedway where several winners conquered the mountain and went to the winners circle! Two of those racers being Tyler Wudarczyk (SS) and John Brimer (STK).
Joining them in the winners circle were Marty Simpson (SC), Kris Whitfield (SG), Dave Scutt (TS), and Chandler Thyssen (TD).

2022 Dodge Power Brokers NHRA Mile-High Nationals
Super Stock – Tyler Wudarczyk
Tyler Wudarczyk picked up his fourth NHRA National event Wally after defeating Bill Jenkins in the final round. Jenkins turned on the red bulb by -.015 to hand the win over to Wudarczyk who was .008 and ran an 11.242 at 118 mph to park his third-gen Camaro in the winners circle.
Norman Marsden was the semi-finalist.
Stock Eliminator – John Brimer
John Brimer took home his fifth NHRA National event Wally after defeating Jay Storey in the final round. Storey had the starting line advantage, but gave the stripe back by .001 to hand the win over to Brimer who was .063 and ran a 9.558 at 136 mph on his 9.55 dial-in.
Jeremy Romero and Brenda Grubbs were the semi-finalists.
Super Comp – Marty Simpson
Marty Simpson found himself in the winners circle with his first NHRA National event Wally after defeating Todd McCann in the final round. Just a coin flip apart on the starting line, .015 to .016, Simpson ran a 9.524 at 161 mph on the 9.50 index to pick up the trophy.
Landon Stallbaumer and Cody Wampler were the semi-finalists.
Super Gas – Kris Whitfield
Kris Whitfield picked up his first NHRA National event Wally after defeating Ray Schoneman in the final round. Whitfield had a huge starting line advantage, .009 to .054, and on a double breakout crossed second with a 10.482 at 145 mph to head to the winners circle.
Craig Maddox was the semi-finalist.
Top Dragster – Chandler Thyssen
Chandler Thyssen went to the winners circle after defeating Daria Vang in the final round. Vang had issues at the hit, giving Thyssen room to comfortably pick up his first NHRA National event Wally. Thyssen ran a 7.414 at 178 mph.
Adam Chioda and Daria Vang were the semi-finalists.
Top Sportsman – Dave Schutt
Dave Schutt defeated Wade Kiefer in the final round to take home his first NHRA National event Wally. Kiefer broke out to hand the win over to Schutt who was .065 and ran a 7.738 at 178 mph on his 7.72 dial-in.
Ed Olpin and Ryan Julius were the semi-finalists.
