PORT ALLEN, LA- The Fall season is here which means the CP Racing Promotions’ Fall 5K’s is coming up October 14-16, 2022 at State Capitol Raceway. This action-packed bracket racing event will feature a Box & No-Box $3K Gamblers race on Friday, as well as two $5K Box races, and two $5K No-Box races on Saturday & Sunday. Junior Dragsters will also have the opportunity to race for $2,500 on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night will also feature a $5,000-to-win Box and No Box 64-car shootout.

On Friday, there will be a $3,000-to-win Gamblers Race for Box racers. The entry fee is $100 and there will be a first round buyback available for $40. The payout is based on 40 entries. The runner-up will warn $600 and the semis will win $200.
Saturday and Sunday will feature the twin $5K’s with $700 to the runner-up finisher and $250 to the semi-finalists. The weekend entry for both days (Sat & Sun) is $250 and a $50 buyback is available for 1st or 2nd round. The twin $5K’s payout is based on 50 entries. The single-day entry for Saturday or Sunday will be $150.
No Box competitors also have a chance of running for $3K on Friday, $5K on Saturday, and $5K on Sunday as well. The payout structure is the same as the Box class and the weekend entry is also $250 for both Saturday and Sunday. The entry fee for the $3K Gamblers Race is $100. You can also do a single day entry for either Saturday or Sunday and it will be $150.
Junior Dragster $2,500-to-Win
Junior Dragsters are also invited in on the fun and will compete for $2,500 on both Saturday and Sunday. The weekend entry is $200 and the first round buyback will be $40. The runner-up will earn $700 and the semi-finalists will win $250. The single day entry will be $125. Payouts based on 32 entries.
Saturday Night Shootouts
On Saturday night, there will be a Box and No-Box $5,000-to-win Shootout. The runner-up of each class will earn $800 and the semi-finalists will win $300. Gates will open on Friday at 12pm and the $3K Gamblers’ races will have open time runs from 5-6pm. First round for the Gamblers races will begin at 6pm. On Saturday and Sunday, gates will open at 8am and time trials will get underway around 9am with eliminations to follow. The Saturday Night Shootouts time run will begin after Saturday’s main event and eliminations will follow.
