Winners Crowned at Lil’ Bucks Hootenanny

Winners were crowned champions over the weekend at Dragway 42 during the 2nd Annual T.F.C Transportation Lil’ Bucks Hootenanny.

WEST SALEM, OH – The 2nd Annual T.F.C Transportation Lil’ Bucks Hootenanny concluded over the weekend where the Yaeger brothers gave it their all to put on yet another great event. Racers traveled from all over in hopes of finding the winners circle in West Salem, OH.

The event ran from Thursday-Sunday where champions were crowned all throughout the weekend in Box and No-Box.

2nd Annual T.F.C Transportation Lil’ Bucks Hootenanny

Thursday

Tim Schmidt defeated Lisa Boes to pick up the Poor Man’s Gamblers Race win. Schmidt had the starting line advantage, .012 to .027, and ran a 5.112 on his 5.10 dial-in to pick up the big check.

Mike Matty Sr. and Kyle Beno were the semi-finalists.

Friday

Derrick Innovations Box

16-year-old Zach Smith defeated Lou Greco to pick up the first win of the weekend.

Smith was .015 and ran a 4.736 on his 4.73 dial-in at 144 mph.

Vickers Performance Transmission No-Box

Joe Capiccioni defeated Jason Proffitt to pick up the No-Box check.

Capiccioni was .012 and ran a 6.057 on his 6.05 dial-in.

32-Car Low Roller Shootout

John Vergotz Jr. defeated Mike Matty Jr. to pick up the shootout victory.

Saturday

Derrick Innovations Box

Jim Stephens defeated Greg Fox in the final round to pick up Saturday’s big check.

Fox turned it red by -.002 to hand the win over to Stephens who was .012 and coasted to a 6.145 at 95 mph.

Vickers Performance Transmissions No-Box

Kevin Burns was victorious over Jon Lowery in the final round.

Lowery clicked it red by -.013 to hand the win over to Burns who was .016 an ran a 7.074 on his 7.05 dial-in for the win.

Sunday

Derrick Innovations Box

Frankie McCullough picked up the last check of the weekend over Brittany DuMonte in the final round.

Vickers Performance Transmissions No-Box

Corey Griffith defeated Joe Childs in the final round to pick up the Sunday No-Box win.

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
