Jr Racers Win Big at BMP Thanksgiving Jr. Nationals

Eleven Junior Dragster racers captured wins at the Brainerd Motorsports Park Thanksgiving Jr. Nationals.

RINGGOLD, GA- Junior Dragster racers flocked to Brainerd Motorsports Park November 25-27, 2022 for the Thanksgiving Jr. Nationals. The event featured a Pit Bike Race, two Off the Trailer Shootouts, two $5K races, $5K Team Race, and a Parent’s Race. In addition, there were also age group classes but due to unfavorable weather they were unable to be completed.

Thursday Night Pit Bike Race

Dexter Gomez was the Thursday night Pit Bike Race winner and runner-up.

Off the Trailer Shootout #1

Avery Bolding from Rock Island, TN captured the Off the Trailer Shootout #1 final round win over Curtis Peek from Quitman, GA.

Off the Trailer Shootout #2

Cole Grayson from Dunlap, TN picked up the Off the Trailer Shootout #2 win over Hayden James from Cartersville, GA.

Friday $5K Race

Grady Wiggins from Alvaton, KY claimed the Friday $5K Race win over Rylan Hamby from Cleveland, TN.

Team Race $5K

The winners of the Team Race $5K were Logan Grayson, Cole Grayson, Mattie Grayson, Hutch Harger, and Kane Kern and the runner-up team consisted of Braxton McEntyre, ORiley Benda, Bailey Benda, Victoria Beaner and Ethan Dowlen.

Sunday $5K Race

Hayden James from Cartersville, GA earned the Sunday $5K Race win over Jason Johnson from McDonough, GA.

Parent’s Race

Whitney Huff knocked out her fiancé, Jeff Reed to take home the Hammer Trophy and the Parent’s Race win.
