Langdon Shines Bright at NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals
Shawn Langdon led the list of winners at the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, picking up the Wally in Super Comp.
BRISTOL, TN – Shawn Langdon had a big weekend at the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, putting him on top of the winners list. Langdon made it to not one, but TWO final rounds. He picked up the Wally in Super Comp after defeating John Labbous Jr. in the final round, and almost found himself with a double-up but fell short in the Top Fuel final.

Joining Shawn in the winners circle was Mike Crutchfield (SS), Daren Poole-Adams (STK), Chris Lewis (SG), and Tyler Caheely (TS).

2022 NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals
Stock Eliminator – Daren Poole-Adams

Daren Poole-Adams picked up the Wally in Stock after defeating Todd Ewing in the final round. Ewing turned on the red light by -.015, handing the win over to Poole-Adams who was .044 and ran a 9.667 at 136 mph on his 9.67 dial-in.
Morgan Taylor was the semi-finalist.
Super Stock – Mike Crutchfield

Mike Crutchfield defeated Scott Libersher in the final round to take home his fifth NHRA National event Wally. Libersher turned on the red light by -.014, handing the trophy over to Crutchfield who was -.008 behind him and ran a 9.061 at 148mph on the 9.09 dial-in.
Emily Volkman was the semi-finalist.
Super Comp – Shawn Langdon

Shawn Langdon defeated John Labbous to take home his eighth NHRA National event Wally and his fifth in Super Comp. Langdon had the starting line advantage, .005 to .018, and ran a 8.893 at 161 mph to Labbous’s 8.862 at 165 mph.
Devin Isenhower was the semi-finalist.
Super Gas – Chris Lewis

Chris Lewis picked up his second NHRA National event Wally after defeating Ausby Brewington in the final round. Brewington had the starting line advantage, .009 to .018, but took too much stripe breaking out while Lewis posted a 9.902 at 166 mph on the 9.90-index.
Jim Perry was the semi-finalist.
Top Sportsman – Tyler Caheely

Tyler Caheely took home his third NHRA National event Wally after defeating Cole Prejean in the final round. On the double breakout win, Caheely was .021 and ran a 6.811 at 198 mph on his 6.82 dial-in to head to the winners circle.
Curt Fredrich was the semi-finalist.
