6/8/22 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Gavin Whisnant

Gavin Whisnant leads the Jr. Racer Top 10 List for the second consecutive week. After doubling up a week ago at Rockingham, Gavin raced to a win and a runner-up over the weekend at Piedmont Dragway to keep the #1 spot for another week. Four finals and three wins in a week is impressive.

2 – Tucker Mack

Tucker Mack wins three straight to grab the #2 spot this week. After winning his first race a week ago, Tucker doubled up this past weekend at Coles Country Dragway to collect wins #2 and #3.

3 – Brantley Forrester

Brantley Forrester lands in the #3 spot on the Jr. Racer Top 10 List this week after doubling up at Gleason Raceway. Forrester won on Saturday and Sunday which added to his runner-up finish a week earlier.

4 – Macie Gordon

Full time NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car crew member Macie Gordon took a weekend off from working on the funny car to do a little racing herself. Gordon doubled up at the NHRA Division 7 event where she won the 15-17 year old class along with the Jr. Comp class. You can learn more about Macie and her sister Maddi here.

5 – Kentavious Mack

Kentavious Mack doubled up at Holly Springs this past weekend. The wins allowed Mack to retain his first and second place positions in the track championship points.

6 – Aspyn Kaupa

Aspyn Kaupa doubled up at US 131 Motorsports Park last weekend to earn the six spot this week.

7 – Zakary Case

Zakary Case doubled up at Silver Dollar Raceway last weekend which helped him maintain his first place points position.

8 – Mia Rybarski

Mia Rybarski lands in the eight spot this week after winning on back-to-back weekends at US 131 Motorsports Park.

9 – Autumn Jones

Autumn Jones made three final round appearances over the weekend at KDS Motorsports Park. After two runner-up finishes earlier in the weekend, Autumn finished strong by closing out the weekend with a victory.

10 – Andrew Martin

Andrew Martin picked up his fourth Wally of the year after winning the NHRA Division 7 race at Sacramento. What’s even more impressive is this is Andrew’s first season of racing juniors.
