DragChamp Top 10 List
1 – Jantzen Melton

Jantzen Melton grabs the #1 spot on the Laris Motorsports Insurance Top 10 this week after a huge weekend at Gleason Raceway Park. Competing at the CP Racing Promotions Fall 4-Day race, Melton almost swept the weekend. He kicked off the weekend with a quarterfinal finish on Thursday. He kept the momentum rolling on Friday winning the $10K main event. After rain forced CP to combine the Sat/Sun races, Melton raced to the $20K victory on Sunday! Even better, his Mr. Satellite Corvette broke after his semifinal run on Sunday. Melton borrowed a car he’d never sat in for the final and still managed to capture the $20K payday.
2 – Wesley Lockhart

Much like Melton, Wesley Lockhart rolled through the No-Box field throughout the weekend at Gleason. Lockhart won $5K on Thursday, won two Gamblers races, and added a $10K runner-up as well.
3 – Jason Lynch

A week after making a quarterfinal showing at the OG Million, Jason Lynch showed out at Brainerd Motorsports Park. Lynch doubled up on Friday winning both the $10K main event along with a $3K Gamblers race.
4 – Blake Richardson

Big Block Blake makes yet another Top 10 finish this week after winning $10K at the BMP Nippy Trippy’s. The win marked his fourth final in the last three weeks. His current streak includes a split & quit $5K with his brother Austin two weeks ago and a runner-up and a $5K win a week ago. Not to be outdone by his brothers, Ryan Richardson also picked up a $10K victory over the weekend.
5 – Mitchell Seymore

Mitchell Seymore just keeps winning. It seems as though he’s in the final or two every week lately. Coming off of a win and a runner-up at Etheridge a week ago, Seymore grabbed a big $10K victory at the CP Fall 4-Day race at Gleason this past weekend.
6 – Gage Burch

Gage Burch grabs the #6 spot this week after doubling up at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Burch snagged the $5K No-Box W on Saturday and followed with another W on Sunday. He also posted a semifinal finish in Super Pro on Sunday.
7 – Jim Glenn

Jim Glenn posted a clutch semifinal finish on Sunday in Vegas to claim the 2022 NHRA Super Comp World Championship. Glenn eclipsed Austin Williams for the title by 10 points or 1 round of competition.
8 – Jerron Settles

Speaking of clutch performances, the Flying Airbrush Jerron Settles came up big in Vegas. Settles came into the final D7 LODRS race needing a final round finish to capture the division championship. He did one better by winning the race to earn the championship! Jerron outlasted newly crowned world champ Jim Glenn by 22 points to claim the D7 championship.
9 – James West

Although he came up one round short on back-to-back days, James West still earned a Top 10 spot after racing to two $10K runner-ups at Gleason Raceway Park.
10 – The Soul Crusher

Josh Sutton, aka the Soul Crusher, grabs the #10 spot this week after going 18-0 in the last 3 weeks. Driving a Kia Soul, yes a Kia lol, Sutton has dominated the Sportsman class at Music City and Bowling winning three straight. He also made it down to 14 cars out of 150 this past weekend in the Top Bulb class.
