DragChamp Top 10 List

1 – Donovan Williams

The Doughboy easily captured the #1 spot this week after a dominating performance at the Capital City Classic 100K. Donovan raced to the 64-car Shootout victory on Thursday and followed with a huge $100K score on Saturday night. The impressive double was more than enough to secure the top spot this week.

2 –Randy Biddle Jr.

RBJ continued his recent hot streak with a win and a $5K runner-up at VMP last weekend. The previous weekend, Biddle made three finals at the Motor Mile where he won twice.

3 – Ryan McClanahan

Ryan McClanahan hit the jackpot at Vegas where he posted three wins in two weekends. A week ago McClanahan won Stock at the Four-Wide Nationals. He followed that with a double in Super Stock at the Lucas Oil doubleheader Divisional race.

4 – Shane Sweigart

Shane Sweigart had a weekend to remember at US13’s King of the Shore. On Friday, Shane won the No Box class then joined the Top Bulb class where he won $10,000. He enjoyed much of the same success on Saturday after once again winning the No Box portion although he fell a round short of a second straight final after posting a semifinal finish in Top.

5 – Will Holloman

Will Holloman continues to show out at the biggest races in the country and last weekend was no exception. Holloman parked the Chris Bear dragster in the $50,000 winners circle on Friday to collect yet another massive payday.

6 – Brad Plourd

Bad Brad Plourd made his third final round appearance in two weeks to secure a Top 10 spot this week. After a win in Pro and a runner-up in Footbrake last week, Plourd cruised to the Footbrake win this past weekend at Baileyton.

7 – David Ciarloni

David Ciarloni locked down the lucky seven spot this week after doubling up at Memphis a week ago. Ciarloni won both $2,500 No Box races while collecting Ironman trophies in the process.

8 – Brent Hyatt

Brent Hyatt dominated the Footbrake class at Union County Dragway last weekend. He ran himself in the final on Saturday and then took two entries to the semifinals on Sunday. After dropping an entry in the semis, Hyatt took his other entry to the W to complete the weekend sweep.

9 – Jay Fox

Jay Fox grabs the nine spot this week after following up his $10K runner-up a week earlier with a $5K win last weekend at Music City.

9 – Andrew Goss

Andrew Goss makes another Top 10 appearance after making his sixth final of the season. This past weekend, Goss took the win in No-E and added a runner-up in Super Pro.

10 – Brandon Hutchens

Brandon Hutchens closes out a strong Top 10 list after racing to two finals at the Farm last weekend. After picking up a win and a semifinal the prior week, Hutchens added two runner-up finishes over the weekend.

Shout Out

2021 NHRA Super Stock World Champ Greg Stanfield is looking to add a 6th championship to his resume after starting his title defense off with three straight finals. In his first three Lucas Oil Divisional races, Stanfield has two wins and a runner-up including a win last weekend in Houston.
