KINSTON, NC- The 36th Annual Winterfest at Kinston Drag Strip took place January 28-29, 2022. After having to postpone it a few weekends due to rain, racers were excited to kick-off their season with this event. Both days featured Top ET, Mod ET, and Junior Dragster classes. Saturday Results

Top ET

Michael Morton claimed the Saturday Top ET $5K win over Michael Jackson.

Mod ET

In Saturday’s $3K-to-win Mod ET class, Richard Synger earned himself the final round win over Tommy Duff.

Jr Dragster

Lane Morgan captured the Saturday Jr. Dragster win over Nickole Dabney.

Sunday Results

Top ET

In Sunday’s $5K Top ET class, Kenny Young picked up the final round win over Kale Hoffman.

Mod ET

Brent Hyatt turned on the final win light in Sunday’s $3K-to-win Mod ET class. Tyler Duff was the runner-up finisher.

Jr Dragster

Nickole Dabney picked up her redemption win over Lane Morgan in Sunday’s Jr. Dragster class.
