Martin & Childress Lead Winners at Verge Quick Outlaw Series Race #1

Martin, Childress, Sims, Rodgers, and Brown captured wins at the Verge Quick Outlaw Series Race #1 at Union County Dragway.

UNION, SC- This past weekend on April 1, 2023, the Verge Quick Outlaw Series held their first race of the season at Union County Dragway. Even with the tough forecast and morning storm on Saturday, they were able to run the race to completion, finishing it up around 1AM. The event featured numerous classes including, 4.70 Door Car, 4.50 Dragster, 7.90 Junior Dragster, Jr Eliminator, and Top E.T. Mulligan Madness. Their next series race will be April 22, 2023 at Beech Bend Raceway Park.

GTech Cleaners 4.70 Door Car

Kelly Martin picked up the GTech Cleaners 4.70 Door Car win over Todd “Bones” Ewing.

Chris Vanover and Todd Ewing were the #1 and #2 Drag Race Solutions 4.70 Door Car Qualifiers.

Outlaw Trailers 4.50 Dragster

In Outlaw Trailers 4.50 Dragster, Darryl Childress captured the final round win over Chris Vanover.

Josh Cunningham and Clay Combs were the 4.50 Dragster Drag Race Solutions #1 and #2 Qualifiers.

Lokar 7.90 Junior Dragster

Beau Sims earned the Lokar 7.90 Junior Dragster win over Callie Lemley.

S&W Powersports Jr Eliminator

In S&W Powersports Jr Eliminator, Stephen Rodgers claimed the final round win over Will Dotson.

Top E.T. Mulligan Madness

Carson Brown picked-up the Mulligan race win over Dallas Calvert in the late night finals.
