Winners Crowned at Quaker Big Buck Nationals

Several racers captured wins at the Quaker City Big Buck Nationals on July 7-9, 2023 at Quaker City Motorsports Park.

SALEM, OH- Racers invaded Quaker City Motorsports Park July 7-9, 2023 for the Quaker City Big Buck Nationals. The three-day event featured big money racing for Box, No Box, and Juniors. Saturday was unfortunately cut short due to rain.

Friday Results

Box

Mike Donell captured the Friday $5,000 Box win over Greg Fox. 

Lou Greco was the semi-finalist.

No-Box 

In Friday’s $2,500-to-win No-Box category, Mark Righetti snagged the win over Dave Underwood. 

Nick Bowman was the semi-finalist.

Junior Dragster

Bri Thornton defeated Alyssa Davis to pick up the trophy.

Sunday Results 

Box 

In Sundays’ Box $5K, Justin Vickers captured the win over Jim Davis.

Justin Logan was the semi-finalist.

No-Box

Steve Tigelman rode to victory in Sunday’s $2,500-to-win No-Box class. Nick Bowman was the runner-up.

Nick Bowman (second entry) and Brandon Reynolds were the semi-finalists.

Junior Dragster

Erika Mast defeated Liam Miller to pick up the trophy.

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it. Megan works with TB Promotions in promoting their races and keeping entries straight, as well as keeping their social media pages updated.
