DragChamp Top 10 List
1 – Peeps Pennington

The Peep Show was on full display at the Spring Stampede over the holiday weekend. Coming off a win at Bandimere Speedway a week earlier, Peeps swept the 389-car Super Pro field in Friday’s $5K and Saturday’s $20K for his third win in seven days. To top the weekend off, his nephew Cash swept the 6-9 Jr. class and his brother Michael runnered-up Sunday’s $20K. Needless to say, it was a great weekend for the Pennington clan.
2 – Luke Bogacki

Cool Hand Luke was is typical form this past weekend making four finals and a semifinal at I-57. A week removed from a $10K victory at the Twin $10K’s, Luke doubled up on Saturday at I-57 winning Super Pro and No-Box. He also added a runner-up in Quick 16. The following day he won No-Box again and made the semifinals in Super Pro. His son Gary made the finals in Jr’s on Saturday and his wife Jessica made a semifinal showing on Saturday as well.
3 – Kevin Brannon

KB continued his domination of big money bracket races winning yet another six figure race. Brannon parked his Monza on the dance floor for $100K at the SFG Superbowl of Bracket Racing to earn the three spot this week.
4 – Michael Underwood

Michael Underwood dominated the No-Box class at the Lil Bucks Hootenanny. Over the course of three days and competing against huge fields, Underwood posted two wins and a semifinal to earn the #4 spot this week.
5 – Aaron Jones

Speaking of No-Box domination, Aaron Jones crushed the bottom bulb class at the Spring Stampede at the Texas Motorplex. A-A-Ron took home the No-Box win on Friday and Saturday to secure the five spot.
6 – Cory Gulitti

Cory Gulitti loves $50K’s and it shows, lol. CG has been the king of $50K’s for over a year now and he extended his streak with a $50K victory at the SFG Superbowl of Bracket Racing last week in Darlington.
7 – Champ McCrory

Champ grabs the lucky 7 spot this week after cashing for $20K at the SFG Superbowl at Darlington.
7 – Jeromy Hefler

Jeromy Hefler makes another Top 10 showing after winning $20 large at the Spring Stampede. Hefler outlasted a field of almost 400 cars to earn his latest victory. The win comes on the heels of his IHRA Ironman victory at Xtreme Raceway and a victory at the Windmill Nationals in the last few weeks.
8 – Brad Plourd

Bad Brad has been on a roll lately. A few weeks ago Brad cashed for $5K then followed that with a double at the NHRA D4 LODRS race at the Texas Motorplex. This past weekend he found himself in the finals for the third straight week which ended with a $5K split & quit.
8 – Wesley Lockhart

Wesley Lockhart has been a fixture on the Top 10 List this season after doubling up almost on a weekly basis. This past weekend was no exception as Lockhart won the No-Box class Saturday and Sunday at Beacon Dragway. In the last month alone, Lockhart has been in more than one final every weekend which by my calculations is around 10 finals in the month of May alone!
9 – Nathan Mendenhall

Nathan Mendenhall picked up his third straight victory this past weekend at his third different track. His recent tear began with a runner-up at the Jim Harrington race. He then won at Numidia, Maryland, and Mason Dixon in consecutive weeks.
10 – Brenden Blakney

Brenden Blakney has been dominate at Thunder Valley Dragways this season. In two race weekends he’s won four times in five finals! Over the holiday weekend, he made two final round appearances on Saturday and another on Monday winning twice.
10 – Kabren Jackson

Kabren Jackson followed his runner-up at the Gallstar Midwest Bracketfest with a double-up at Thunder Valley Dragways. Jackson won the Mod class on Saturday and Sunday to secure a top ten spot this week.
