Division 6 LODRS at Pacific Raceways Results
KENT, Wash. – Final results from the fifth stop on the Division 6 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series at Pacific Raceways.
Super Stock – Jody Lang, fresh off a Stock Eliminator runner-up at the national event last week, went the distance in Super Stock defeating Sean Cour in the final round.
Stock Eliminator – Norm Webber picked up the win in Stock taking a double break-out decision over D6 hitter Joe Sorenson. Justin Lamb improved his chances to repeat as world champion when he posted a semifinal finish. Lamb red-lighted to Sorensen in the semi’s.
Super Comp – Aaron Kinard captured the Super Comp title after Andy Morris ran under the index in the final round.
Super Gas – Rob Willis picked up the Super Gas Wally when he defeated recent Toyota Sonoma Nationals runner-up Ron MacKenzie. MacKenzie has enjoyed considerable success over the last three races with two runner-up finishes along with a solid fourth round finish last week at the Northwest Nationals.
Top Dragster – Mark Campbell won Top Dragster over red-hot Andy Spiegel. Spiegel has been in three straight final rounds, two nationals and a divisional, settling for the runner-up spot in each case. Even though he hasn’t won, making three finals in a row is an impressive effort.
Top Sportsman – Doug Crumlich grabbed the Top Sportsman Wally after narrowly defeating Shawn Herbst by just .004 in the final.
Super Street – Gary Ericksen defeated a late-leaving Chris Bracey to pick up the Super Street title.
