Winners Emerge from Mike Smith Memorial Race

Chad Spradlin, Mitchell Reaves, and Aaron Disinger all visited the winners circle at Capital City Motorsports Park over the weekend at the Mike Smith Memorial Race.

MONTGOMERY, AL – Nearly 500 racers showed up for the Mike Smith Memorial Race last weekend, hoping to cash in for a little money before the OG Million event this week there. Three lucky racers were lucky enough to visit the winners circle, making for a memorable weekend!

Chad Spradlin, Mitchell Reaves, and Aaron Disinger all visited the winners circle over the weekend cashing in for $20,000 a piece.

Friday

Chad Spradlin defeated Kevin Pruett in the final round to pick up the first win of the weekend. Pruett turned it red to hand the win over to Spradlin, who coasted down the racetrack to the winners circle.

Mike Collins and Adam Russell were the semi-finalists.

Saturday

Mitchell Reaves took out Bryson Scruggs in the final round to pick up the second check of the weekend. Scruggs missed the tree in the final round to open the door for Reaves, who was .011 on the tree and 1 above his dial-in for the win.

Will Holloman and Bryson Scruggs, in his second entry, were the semi-finalists.

Sunday

Aaron Disinger defeated Nick Folk in the final round of the last race of the weekend to pick up the $20k check. Disinger had the starting line advantage to get there first by .009, sending him to the winners circle.

Josh Mackey was the semi-finalist.

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
