2022 Summit Motorsports Park Champions Captivate on Way to Crowns

The sun has set on another sensational season of Edelbrock Super Series racing at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.

From the first points race of the year through the last points race of the year on Sept. 10, 2022, racers experienced everything from struggles to success, and retained their razor-sharp focus and resiliency along the way.

The chase to the 2022 championships was invigorating, intense, exciting and emotional, and the Summit Motorsports Park family couldn’t be more proud of those who were able to go all the way. A sincere congratulations is offered to the following racers:

Carl Keil — Edelbrock Super Pro Champion

A.J. Buchanan — Edelbrock Pro Champion

Jeremy Hicks — Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike Champion

Codie Balcom — Edelbrock Sportsman Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation Champion

Logan Buckley — Bear Motorsports Advanced Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco Champion 

Kace Shupp/Keegan Beverly — Tied for Bear Motorsports Intermediate Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco championship and will run-off at the TransTec Halloween Classic presented by Harland Sharp, Oct. 8-16

Ellieanna Oldenburg — Bear Motorsports Novice Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco Champion

“To be able to win a round among such tough competition at Summit Motorsports Park is amazing, and to be able to win a championship at Summit Motorsports Park is absolutely awe-inspiring,” said Bill Bader Jr., president of Summit Motorsports Park. “Our 2022 champions knew that they were going to have to work very hard, from the first race to the last race, but they continued to give it everything they had to achieve excellence, and they are to be commended for that.”

The 2022 Summit Motorsports Park Edelbrock Super Series champions will be honored at the festive Edelbrock Banquet of Champions presented by Lincoln Electric, Jan. 27-29, 2023 at the completely remodeled Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio.
